Date Night! Steve & I enjoyed a nice dinner, just the 2 of us at a new local restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary! It was a nice quiet dinner between us but the football games were quite loud throughout the restaurant. It was great to pick the kids back up and see our serious little girl bust into a giant gummy smile just to see us!! We came home to lots of noises and laughter from that sweet little girl which just made our night!!

Spa Night...

So we decided to stay home and have fun spa treatments for all! Catherine enjoyed sitting up in the tub for her entire bath...a first! Then she stood on the side of the tub chewing on toys while Isaac took his bath!

I took the kids to the game solo and it was an absolute blast!! It was actually Catherine's first hockey game & my first game of the season -Isaac is a seasoned at home hockey game attendee so nothing new for him and he sure did enjoy sharing the game with his sister!!


Total BONUS-- the kids were on the jumbo screen!! Catherine started it with her thumb sucking sweetness, and then proud Momma pulled in a happy 3 year old little boy -- now I'm the cool parent (for now!!)

Catherine trying on her swim suit for all of the fun to be had this summer! Isaac was very concerned because its supposed to "connect" in the middle, his innocence gave me quite the chuckle!!

The *new* view

The view has changed a bit around here and I am NOT happy about it!

Catherine has been uncomfortable in her infant car seat and quite smooshed, so we tried out the big convertible car seat and it has been quite the hit!! (and apparently I'm not a strong Mom because I can't carry that darn bucket!)

Along with that big change we took the plunge and Isaac moved up to the high back booster seat right before Christmas(which was emotional and enough to set me over the edge THEN)
